Via Tevere, Silvi Marina: urgent order to fell two pines and plant six new trees
What changes
By the order of 6 November 2026 the Municipality orders the immediate felling of two stone pines (specimens no. 1 and no. 3) in via Tevere, Silvi Marina, based on a tree-risk assessment of the same day. For the third specimen (no. 2) it orders a rebalancing prune and monitoring, with no felling. As compensation it orders six new trees: four Aleppo pines in the same neighbourhood and two more plants in the affected flowerbeds, with care and rooting checks for at least six months.
To be checked
Order no. 226 of 6 November 2026. The assessment, by the forestry expert appointed by decision no. 2046 of 15 September 2025, reports a worsening of specimens no. 1 and no. 3 after heavy rain, with risks to traffic and pedestrians; the act does not give the trees' age or measurements, which are in the attached report, not read. The order refers to a separate traffic measure for via Tevere (see the card for act no. 3793). Costs and contractor are not stated.
